DeBoie's only season currently on record contains two football results that would improve almost any resume. His college football regular-season card placed 4th; the NFL playoffs followed with a tie for 14th. Baseball, a distant third at 80th, was the only other contest inside the top 100.
That is how a player with two front-field football cards can still finish 152nd of 251. Much of the calendar landed 152nd or worse, including 224th in the NBA. The appeal is obvious, and so is the imbalance. DeBoie has shown that he can beat almost an entire field in two different football formats; the rest of the calendar has not yet learned how to hold the lead.
